The 4-Strand PE Braided Fishing Line is constructed from four strands of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers. The surface of each strand is coated with a color-treated resin. The four-strand braid pattern produces a round profile with UV-resistant treatment applied.
Available in three colors — Black, Blue, and Green — and four model sizes: 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 5.0 PE.
Breaking strength varies by PE size. PE 1.0: approx. 20 lb / 9 kg; PE 2.0: approx. 30 lb / 14 kg; PE 3.0: approx. 40 lb / 18 kg; PE 5.0: approx. 65 lb / 30 kg. These are approximate reference values. Refer to product packaging for verified rated strength.
